The Missouri Board of Probation and Parole, as an essential part of the criminal justice system, is to provide for the professional assessment and release of offenders and their supervision in the community, using appropriate treatment, sanctions, and controls, with the primary consideration being promotion of public safety.

Moms and Dads Breastfeeding Support Group.

Responsible for coordinating governmental offices during natural and man-made disasters and for the coordination of emergency management activities including planning, preparedness, response and recovery. Also, operates an emergency communication center to alert public of hazards.

Family-centered Services are provided to families and children in their own homes when a child abuse or neglect investigation/family assessment response determination is preponderance of evidence, unsubstantiated-preventive services indicated, or services needed. These services are also provided to families who voluntarily seek help. Family-centered Services include a range of treatment and support services and are provided, as appropriate to the case treatment plan.

Assistance in preparing state and federal income tax returns, includes electronic filing of tax returns and credits.

Tests children for lead ingestion.

Home Health agency providing home nursing services.

Workforce Development: Provides training for those who are ready for employment to learn the behaviors and techniques that are required for job retention.

Offers family planning care, including preconception and birth control.

Occupational Therapy - Industrial Rehabilitation: Work with patients to improve strength, flexibility, endurance and tolerance after an injury or illness, with the goal of restoring independence. Services provided include work injury rehab, work hardening, pre-employment testing, ergonomic analysis, job-site analysis and functional capacity evaluations.

Provides a variety of immunizations for adults/adolescents.

Pregnancy testing

Accepts donations of toys and games.

Provides monitoring of diabetes, high blood pressure and other chronic diseases.

Provides referrals for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness. Outreach services and a shelter are available for women and children.

Develops a coordinated delivery system of services to assist and enable older Missourians to remain in their own homes as long as possible and to enhance the quality of life for all older Missourians. Congregate and home delivered meals program, long term ombudsman program, in home services, paperwork assistance, legal services, health promotion, information and assistance, tax information, transportation assistance, respite care, family caregiver support program Medicare Prescription Drug Program, and the Missouri Senior Rx Program.
