The Community of Character has a goal of promoting, encouraging and equipping the development of character and is run by the Lee's Summit CARES Character Council, made up of the following sectors: business, public safety, city, recreation, education, media, faith, & family. Each sector creates programs and activities to help strengthen character in their area. Training and programs are offered for all types of groups including businesses, families, schools, etc.
