County health department responsible for preventing epidemics and the spread of disease, promoting prevention through child and adult immunizations,promoting good health for chronic disease through education and referral, protecting against environmental hazards and injuries, promoting and encouraging healthy behaviors and responding to disasters and assisting communities in recovery. Services include lead testing, restaurant/food sanitation, food safety education, child passenger safety seats, blood pressure screening, HIV testing, tuberculosis screening, CPR Instruction, general first aid instruction, general health education, nutrition education, pregnancy testing, breastfeeding support through one-on-one counseling, community clinics provides basic clinical services such as low cost lab blood draws and allergy injections” and “provides flu, COVID and cholesterol testing with ear cleaning and blood work , immunizations, childhood immunizations and Vaccines for Children, flu vaccines, HPV immunizations, WIC, Health related support groups and maternal child health initiatives.
