Application process

Complaints can be submitted by phone, website, mail or fax. They will forward your complaint to the company and work to get a response. After they forward your complaint, the company has 15 days to respond to you and the CFPB. Companies are expected to close all but the most complicated complaints within 60 days. You’ll be able to review the response and give them feedback. If they find that another agency would be better able to assist, they will forward your complaint and let you know.
